Pro 7.5 PTR 89916 CLOSING PAYROLL LEAVES SOME DATA IN CURRENT AND IN HISTORY

This patch applies to Sage Pro 7.5 with Service Pack 1.

These instructions supplement and clarify the program documentation for Pro Series, Version 7.5.

To Install the Patch
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. Log all users out of Pro Series and close the program. 
   
2. Create a full backup of the Sage Pro system before installing this patch.

3. Exit Sage Pro.

4. Extract the files in P89916_Pro75.exe to a temporary directory (i.e. C:\TEMP).

5. Copy the prpcls.fxp and prpcls.prg files to the Sage Pro PR program folder, 
   (i.e. C:\PRO75\PR), overwriting the existing files.

6. Copy the prfix89916.fxp file to the Sage Pro ERP root directory (i.e. C:\PRO75).

7. Copy the Patch89916.pat to the Sage Pro ERP root directory (i.e. C:\PRO75).

8. Restart Pro Series.


Install the fix tool
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. Log all users out of Sage Pro and close the program. 
   
2. Create a full backup of the Sage Pro system before installing this patch.

3. Copy the file PRFIX89916.fxp to the Pro System Folder.

4. Log into the Pro Series as an Administrative user. 

5. Select File-> Open -> Foxpro Access.

6. Type "DO PRFIX89916".  The utility will only repair one company at a time. 
   Select the company that you want to update and hit "Enter".

7. Run the utility from step 6 for each Payroll company.
