“Invalid Beginning Period/ Year for Column 11” Message if More Than 10 Columns Used in Report

Issue

The General Ledger (GL) 13-Column Income vs. Budget Statement Report will result in the following message if more than 10 columns are used:

“Invalid Beginning Period/Year for Column 11”

Solution or Workaround

This Hot Fix addresses PTR 85567 for Sage Pro ERP 7.4 Build 3400 with Service Pack 1 and Service Pack 2 applied.

Hot Fix files included (to be copied to the Sage Pro root folder):

  • GLREPUPDATE.FXP
  • GLREPUPDATE.PRG

Important Notes

  1. This Hot Fix should only be applied to Sage Pro ERP 7.4 Build 3400 with Service Pack 1 and Service Pack 2 installed.
  2. PTR 85567 is scheduled to be addressed with next Service Pack or product release for Sage Pro ERP.
  3. Review the Hot Fix Readme before applying this fix.
  4. Back up the Sage Pro installation and data before applying Hot Fix.
  5. Ensure all users are out of Sage Pro
  6. Apply Hot Fix in a test environment to ensure proper results before implementing in a live installation.
  7. Verify that Hot Fix files will not overwrite any modifications. If there are modified files, a qualified Sage Certified Consultant familiar with the modifications should be used to integrate the changes.
