Incorrect Records May Be Saved to the SOTRAN and WOMAST Tables When Exiting During Order Entry

Issue

If a Bill of Materials (BOM) is set to “Generate WO on SO Entry,” it is possible to save incorrect records to the SOTRAN and WOMAST tables when exiting the Order Quantity prompt while adding order entry line items.

Solution or Workaround

This Hot Fix addresses PTR 81599.

Hot Fix files included (in the PE program folder):

  • PEBMCF.FXP
  • PEBMCF.PRG

Important Notes:

  1. PTR 81599 has been fixed as of Sage Pro ERP 7.4 Build 3400.
  2. This Hot Fix applies to Sage Pro 7.3B Build 3301.
  3. Back up affected program files and data before applying Hot Fix.
  4. Apply Hot Fix in a test environment to ensure proper results before implementing in a live installation.
  5. Verify that Hot Fix files will not overwrite any modifications. If there are modified files, a qualified Sage Certified Consultant familiar with the modifications should be used to integrate the changes.
