“Error Importing Data From the Source File” When Importing Customers, Items or Vendors from a DBF File

Cannot import DBF table records due to the following error:

Error Importing Data From the Source File.

Solution or Workaround

This is usually the result of the table (DBF) still being connected to the database container. If the table used during the import process has been copied from a Sage Pro ERP installation to another location using the Windows operating system copy process, it will still be linked to the database container for that installation.
