“Error 94: Must Specify Additional Parameters” Message Appears When Launching Sage Pro ERP After a Conversion

After converting to the latest version of Sage Pro ERP from a prior version, all workstations receive the following message when attempting to login:

Error 94: Must Specify Additional Parameters

Solution or Workaround

This issue is caused by a third-party program that was not updated for the current version of Sage Pro. Review the original installation for third-party or custom programming that may be causing the error. If none exist, other possibilities may be:

  • Program files from the previous version that were not removed prior to converting. Review the conversion checklist found in the Installation Guide for a complete list of required steps.
  • Verify that Sage Pro is not installed to a root directory such as F: rather than F:\Pro.
  • Verify that the workstation installation was done while logged onto the workstation and network as an administrator.
