Issue
When trying to release from an application to General Ledger a message appears. “Another user is releasing entries to General Ledger from this application. Unable to release to GL.”
Solution or Workaround
Clear all flags from within System Manager.
SM – Transaction – System Recovery – Clear Flags – Clear all flags
Cause
This may happen if a users computer locks up while releasing data to General Ledger. A value in SYSDATA.STR10 gets set to “Y”
