Issue

The following message appears when printing or previewing custom purchase orders:

Error 1: File does not exist Called from g_prvfrx line 50152 Line Number: 50152 Program code causing error: a_potran-> purno + a_potran->vendno
Please refer to error 1.jpg, attached to this article.

Solution or Workaround

There have been changes in the way that forms in the Purchase Order (PO) module function. In Sage Pro 7.2, the Comment field at the bottom the purchase order form allowed six lines (up to 78 characters each) of text. In Sage Pro 7.3, this field stores an unlimited amount of text. Also, the variable name for this field has changed from Sage Pro 7.2. As a result, the field type in the Sage Pro 7.2 form is incompatible with the newer Sage Pro 7.3 form. Any customized forms based the out of date Sage Pro 7.2 form will cause the error described above.

To avoid this issue, use the default Sage Pro 7.3 purchase order form or create a new custom form based on the new Sage Pro 7.3 default form.
