Note: The following should only be done by a Sage Certified Consultant or Business Partner. Create a full and verified backup before proceeding. This should first be attempted in a test installation and the results should be fully verified before implementing in a live system.
The error is caused by discrepancies in the Sage Pro database tables which contain fiscal calendar information. To resolve the issue it will involves analyzing and correcting the following tables for inconsistencies or corrupted data.
- SYCCOMP – Company File
- SYSDATA – System Data File
- GLSYSD – General Ledger System Backup file
- SYCHFIS – Fiscal Calendar Header File
- SYCDFIS – Fiscal Calendar Detail File
Verify that these tables have the same current GL period:
- Specifically check the following fields in SYCCOMP
- FYPERDS
- CURPRD
- CURYR
- Check the SYCHFIS and SYCDFIS tables for fiscal calendar discrepancies such as missing years, incorrect dates.
- For Sage Pro installation using a Visual FoxPro database, verify that there is only one .dbf version of each of the database tables containing fiscal calendar information in the entire installation.
- Delete temporary files (refer to knowledgebase 21330)
- Verify that the environmental variables settings are correct.
