“Cannot link, [Module] not installed for Company [CompanyID]” Message when Attempting to Link Modules

When linking Order Entry (SO) with Accounts Receivable (AR) the following message appears even though the AR module has been installed:

Cannot link, AR not installed for Company [CompanyID]

Solution or Workaround

The following should only be done by a Sage Certified Consultant or Business Partner. Create a full and verified backup before proceeding. This should first be attempted in a test installation and the results should be fully verified before implementing in a live system.

In the reported scenario, the message indicates there are duplicate AR records in the SYSDATA table. If this message appears when linking another module, verify and remove any duplicate records found in the SYSDATA table.
