When adding a new account type for “Other Income” in GL starting with the letter “O” the following message apperars:”You entered an invalid account type!”

Valid account type code format:

First character: A,L,E,S,C,X,O,T or Y
(Asset, Liability, Equity, Sales, Cost of Sales, Expenses, Other Income,

Enter a letter “I” instead of “O” for the first letter in the new “Other Income” account type.

Solution or Workaround

PTR 91780 has been entered to correct the displayed message directions.
