Issue
Adding a taxable line item to a recurring order does not automatically select the Taxable checkbox in the Item Details tab of the Recurring Orders Maintenance screen. Follow the steps below to recreate the situation in Sage Pro 7.3B, Company 99:
- Open OE.
- Under the Maintain menu, click Recurring Orders; the Recurring Orders Maintenance screen will appear.
- Select customer “BST1” from the Customer picklist.
- Type “REC1” into the Recr Order field.
- Click Add to create a new recurring order. The fields in the Customer Details tab will populate with the customer information. Note: The customer selected should not have an active tax certificate but should have an assigned tax rate.
- Click Items Details.
- Type “A2EW” into the Item field and press ENTER.
When the fields are populated, the Taxable check box is not selected.
Solution or Workaround
This has been documented under Product Trouble Report (PTR) 83363 and has been corrected with the Sage Pro 7.4 product release.
