Issue

It is possible to receive an out-of-balance (OOB) message for 1 cent when releasing a posting from Inventory Control (IC) to General Ledger (GL). This issue may occur only if the following criteria are met. It does not occur every time.

  • Use a Standard Cost company with Production Entry installed
  • Using 3 decimals for costs
  • A bill of materials has component items with 3 decimal costs
  • The bill of materials is set to Explode at Shipment
  • A sales order is entered for the bill of materials finished good and shipped
