Error 13 When Attempting to Fax or Email From Job Cost

Issue

When using Message Master to fax or email out of the Job Cost module the following error may occur:

Error 13: ALIAS not found Called from: M_fax line number: 235

Solution or Workaround

This Hot Fix has been included with Service Pack 1 for Sage Pro ERP 7.4 Build 3400 that is now available. Do not download and install this Hot Fix if Service Pack 1 has already been installed.

This Hot Fix addresses PTR 84906.

Hot Fix files included:

  • SYMMPR.H/.VCT/.VCX (All in the SM program folder)
  • JCFBCH.FXP/PRG (Both in the JC program folder)

Important Notes

  1. PTR 84906 is scheduled to be address with Service Pack 1 for Sage Pro ERP 7.4 Build 3400.
  2. Back up affected program files and data before applying Hot Fix.
  3. Apply Hot Fix in a test environment to ensure proper results before implementing in a live installation.
  4. Verify that Hot Fix files will not overwrite any modifications. If there are modified files, a qualified Sage Certified Consultant familiar with the modifications should be used to integrate the changes.
