Error 230 When Opening the Account Structure Screen

Issue

The following message will appear when clicking Acct Structure button in the Change General Ledger System Information screen.

Error 230:  Array dimensions are invalid.

Solution or Workaround

This issue is caused by corrupted or missing records in the company’s GLSTRU (GL Account Code Structure File) database table. To resolve the issue, create or correct the necessary records.

Important
The following should only be done by a Sage Certified Consultant or Business Partner. Create a full and verified backup before proceeding. This should first be attempted in a test installation and the results should be fully verified before implementing in a live system.

Additional Notes

  • There should be 15 records in the GLSTRU table in Sage Pro ERP 7.4 installations.
  • Installations prior to Sage Pro 7.4 should only have 6 records in GLSTRU.
