Error Message “End of File” Appears

Issue

The following error message appears, when using either Vision point or Sage Pro ERP products installed on Visual Fox Pro (VP) database:

“End of file.”

Solution or Workaround

This error occurs on installations on VFP database, where there are damaged or corrupted cdx files, and/or blank records in the .dbf file.

Check for blank records in the dbf file. May need to copy the structure of the file from another installation and then append the data from the old file to the new file.

If the problem still occurs, then you may need to contact Solution Provider for data repair and/or use a Visual FoxPro repair utility such as Abri, FoxFix or MemoPlus.
