Q: This knowledgebase article explains why the General Ledger total Company Description is not showing up.
A: This issue has been fixed for Sage Pro 7.4 Service Pack 1. In SQL installations, even when Service Pack 1 is applied, a batch of transactions released in detail from a submodule (Accounts Receivable, etc.) and posted in General Ledger (GL) may appear in the Total Company Report with incorrect descriptions for the transactions. If this situation occurs, Hot fix KB 22693 is available for download. Before applying any patches or hot fixes, please make a full backup before proceeding.
If the above (Service Pack 1 and Hot fix KB 22693) has been applied and still does not show the Total Company Description, then make sure the Print Comments in the option grid is marked as Yes.
