Issue

The following message appears when generating any reports in the General Ledger (GL) module.

GL entries are being posted. Reports may not be generated while posting is in process

Solution or Workaround

The message is caused when an invalid suspense account is used in General Ledger (GL) setup information. PTR 86735 has been submitted to Sage Pro Engineering documenting this issue. It will be addressed in Sage Pro 7.5. To resolve the issue, read the steps below.

1. Clear All Flags

2. Verify if the correct suspense account is used in General Ledger (GL) setup information.
   1. Open the GL module.
   2. Under the File menu, click Change Setup Information.
   3. Check if the correct account is used in the Suspense Primary Account Number field to prevent the message from appearing again.

Once the following steps have been completed, the message should not appear.
