What PDF writers are supported by Pro?

A:
The supported PDF writers are defined in Message Master setup.

Q:
How to display to one of the supported writers if the Pro install does not include Message Master? For example, WIN2PDF is installed but when Preview – PDF is selected an error 1258 occurs. If Adobe Reader is installed it will preview in that with no error.

A:
The Message Master setting for a default PDF writer is stored in SYMMCFG.Pdfwriter. If Message Master is not installed with Pro the table can be opened and the value entered into the field. The preview should now work with the new value.
