Issue
After editing a WO header and changing the required date the line item order changes. It will also affect the order of operations in a route in Shop Control.
Solution or Workaround
PTR 91618 has been entered and patched in Pro 2010 and will be included in the first service pack for Pro 2011.
Steps to Duplicate
1. In WO – Maintain Bill of Materials bring up BACD. I added some components to make it easier to see the problem.
2. Enter a new work order for BACD. On the header add FABRICATE1 as a route
3. In Shop Control – Transaction – Import Work Orders and select the order just entered
4. Transaction WIP Tracking – enter the WO number just imported – note the order of operations and items
5. In WO edit the work order created before. Change the qty of line 1 and add a new line and save.
6. On the header screen change the work order and required date and click on Save
7. A message will popup “Select the option for re-configuring components. Select None to keep the changes made to line items.
Now check the order of the line items on the work order and the detail of the WIP tracking in SC. You should see the orders have changed.
