If the same item is entered twice on an order with a different description the combined qty for each item shipped will show on each item on the packing slip.

Solution or Workaround

PTR 91356 was entered and fixed in Pro 2011

Cause

Steps to Duplicate

1. Enter a new sales order for any customer
2. Add 3 lines
A2EW QTY = 1
MOUSE QTY = 1 Edit the description – Ergonomic Trackball Mouse 1
MOUSE QTY = 2 Edit the description – Ergonomic Trackball Mouse 2
3. Save the order and ship it.
4. Print the packing slip. You will see the QTY shipped showing as a QTY 3 for each MOUSE item.
