Issue
This Hot Fix addresses the following issues.
- PTR 84168 (Added to Hot Fix 11/30/2006) – Complete Negative Work Order May Result in Out of Balance Posting
- PTR 83788 (Added to Hot Fix 8/4/2006) – Increase Quantity of Lotted Component May Issue Incorrect Quantities
- PTR 82708 (Added to Hot Fix 5/23/2006) – Overship of Component Item May Result in Incorrect Quantity Issued
- PTR 82421 (Original Hot Fix) – Complete Work Order and Apply to Overship May Result in Out of Balance Posting in Standard Cost Company
Solution or Workaround
This Hot Fix addresses PTRs 82421, 82708, 83788, and 84168 concerning these issues.
Hot Fix files included:
- PESHIP.FXP, PESHIP.PRG (both in the PE program folder of the Pro installation)
- WOSHIP.FXP, WOSHIP.PRG (both in the WO program folder of the Pro installation)
- WOPOSD.FXP, WOPOSD.PRG (both in the WO program folder of the Pro installation)
Important Notes:
- PTRs 82421, 82708, and 83788 have been corrected in the Sage Pro 7.4 Build 3400 product release. PTR 84168 will also occur in Sage Pro 7.4 Build 3400 and is scheduled to be included in Service Pack 1.
- Back up affected program files and data before applying Hot Fix.
- Apply Hot Fix in a test environment to ensure proper results before implementing in a live installation.
- Verify that Hot Fix files do not overwrite any modifications. If there are modified files, a qualified Certified Consultant familiar with the modifications should be used to integrate the changes.
