Issue
After archiving AR data and running a data purge with a cutoff date any record will get deleted from ARYADR if the CUSTNO was not populated regardless of the cutoff date entered. This means that records with an invoice date after the purge cutoff date will also get deleted when they should not.
Steps to Duplicate
1. Enter a new order for ACP1 in Order Entry
2. Change the ship to using the ship to record for the customer.
3. Ship the order back dating it to 01/23/08 (GL) must be set to allow posting to prior period. Choose the options to invoice and enter payment and pay in full.
4. Go into AR. Open ARADDR and confirm if the record added did not get the CUSTNO populated. If so continue with steps.
5. In SM archive AR data. The records for this invoice in ARMAST and ARADDR should get moved to history. Check the tables to confirm.
6. SM – Transaction – Purge Transactions from archive
7. Enter the company number
8. Set the deletion cutoff date to 3/23/07 and select AR, click on OK.
9. Enter delete password = “DESTRUCT” and proceed with purge.
10. Check ARYADR. Any records that did not have CUSTNO populated will have been deleted. Any records that do have CUSTNO populated will remain if the invoice data is after the purge cutoff date.
