Create a BOM with a revision level A and a description then print the BOM. After printing the BOM, change the revision level to B and change the description. Reprint the revised BOM, the BOM will display the correct revision level, however it  prints the original revision level A for the description.

Sage Pro 7.4 with Service Pack 3 (SP3)

Steps to Recreate

1. Open the Production Entry ((PE)) application module for sample company 99.
2. Under the Maintain menu, click Bills of Materials.
3. Select BOM Number BACD.
4. Type A in the Revision Level field.
5. Click Yes to copy from an existing record.
6. Copy from BACD, leave the Revision Level field blank.
7. Click OK and.save.
8. Click All to copy all active components.
9. Click Add, to add a component.
10. Select MOUSESRL from the Item Number picklist.
11. Select WH1 from the Location picklist.
12. Save.
13. Click Edit.
14. Change the value in the Description field.
15. Print the BOM for BOM number BACD, revision level B.

Solution or Workaround

This issue has been reported in PTR 89214 and has been submitted to Sage Pro Development to be evaluated for future build. To check the status of this PTR, please contact Sage Customer Support.

On the BOM report it shows the correct Revision Level, however the BOM Description is incorrect because it displays the original description.
