What Are the Limitations of Export and Import Companies Feature?

Q: Exporting and importing companies was enhanced starting in Sage Pro ERP 7.3 to allow importing of companies from previous versions.

A: The following issues have been documented with this feature:

  • PTR 78139 – Enhancement request to give the option to include system files such as tax tables (This has been addressed in Sage Pro ERP 7.4) .
  • PTR 81403 – Importing a company from Sage Pro 6.5 to Sage Pro 7.3 or Sage 7.3B does not populate the SYUSESS.USESESSION field (This has been resolved in Sage Pro 7.4).
  • PTR 83242 – Favorites do not correctly import into an installation located on a different path. This may cause issues at login.
  • PTR 78345 – DATA EXPORTED FROM SQL TO VFP USES 01/01/1900 FOR BLANK DATE Resolved in Sage Pro 7.4 (This has been resolved in Sage Pro 7.4).
