Q: This article discusses the number of user licenses needed for Microsoft SQL Server (SQL) when using Sage Pro ERP with a SQL database.

A: At minimum, one user will be created in SQL database for every user in Sage Pro. However, it is strongly recommended that Microsoft be contacted to discuss SQL licenses in detail, how many are required and how to obtain them.
