Q: After converting from ACCPAC Pro Series 6.5 to a new version of Sage Pro, the location of the checking account balance has changed.

A:

Versions Prior and Including Pro Series 6.5

Checking account balance is based on the book balance in bank reconciliation which is stored in the APRECO table. Bank reconciliation has to be manually maintained to ensure all account balances are updated.

Pro Series 7.0 or Newer

Check Account Balances can be found and maintained in the Checking Accounts screen. This information is stored in the APACCT table.
