Q: This article explains why lots and serial numbers are active in Company 99 when these options have not been purchased.

A: This is included in the product by design. These features are enabled in the sample company regardless of whether they were purchased or not. These options will be unavailable when a new company is created, if they were not purchased.

Copying or exporting company 99 may show these features as enabled (grayed out with check box selected) but they will not function. Only the sample company will works in this way.
