Q: There is a delay when launching Sage Pro after login. This issue does not occur when attempting the same process in another network environment.
A: When Sage Pro is launched, it will access the printer folder of the workstation to determine if a PDF printer driver is installed. This allows the PDF option to appear when printing in Sage Pro. If there is an obsolete or corrupt network printer driver in the printer folder, the operating system may attempt to search the network for a connection that does not exist. This will cause a delay when updating Sage Pro. Removing the problem printer driver may resolve the issue.
Important
It may also be possible that anti-virus software can cause similar delays if scanning all files. The network administrator should review this setting to determine whether it is causing the issue.
