The following message appears when reinstalling or adding modules to Sage Pro ERP with Microsoft SQL Server:

You are attempting to change your Pro Series database from Microsoft SQL Server.

Solution or Workaround

If adding modules or reinstalling a Sage Pro installation with SQL, Pro SQL Manager must also be selected in the Custom installation screen. It is always selected by default if using a Sage Pro SQL activation code. However if it is deselected before installation, the program will attempt to install the Microsoft Visual FoxPro (VFP) version of Sage Pro and result in the error. The VFP version cannot be installed over the SQL version.
