Customer Information May Be Blank on AR Journal Report and Cash Receipt Register/Sales Tax by Territory May Not Show All Records After Archiving

Issue

 

This Hot Fix was updated July 26, 2007 to address PTR 86432. The Hot Fix now addresses the following issues:

  • PTR 85727 (Original Hot Fix posting) – The AR Journal Report may show blank customer values for invoices still open after a period is closed and archiving done.
  • PTR 85730 (Original Hot Fix posting)- The Cash Receipt Register may not show cash receipts applied to invoices when using a date range and archiving has been done.
  • PTR 86370 (Updated Hot Fix 7/10/2007) – The Hot Fix for PTR’s 85727 and 85730 may result in an Error 13 when running the Cash Receipt Register after applying a tax only credit memo to a fully paid invoice.
  • PTR 86432 (Updated Hot Fix 7/26/2007) – Sales Tax by Territory report when using calculated taxes will not show archived invoices. This issue does not occur with other tax options.
Solution or Workaround

This Hot Fix addresses PTR 85727, 85730, 86370, and 86432 for Sage Pro ERP 7.4 Build 3400 with Service Pack 1 and Service Pack 2 applied.

Important Notes

  1. This Hot Fix should only be applied to Sage Pro ERP 7.4 Build 3400 with Service Pack 1 and Service Pack 2 installed. Refer to Knowledgebase solution 20992 20992″ target=”20992  for more information on how to determine what Service Packs have been installed.
  2. The PTR’s listed in this solution are scheduled to be addressed with next Service Pack or product release for Sage Pro ERP.
  3. Back up affected program files and data before applying Hot Fix.
  4. Apply Hot Fix in a test environment to ensure proper results before implementing in a live installation.
  5. Verify that Hot Fix files will not overwrite any modifications. If there are modified files, a qualified Sage Certified Consultant familiar with the modifications should be used to integrate the changes.
