Solution or Workaround

This is a Microsoft Visual FoxPro (VFP) issue which has been documented in Microsoft Knowledge Base article 176483. This article also contains a possible solution. Microsoft Support has unofficially stated that this has been fixed in VFP 9, which is used in Sage Pro 7.4.

This issue involves large table size and having a large amount of RAM on the workstation, usually over 1 GB. It is unclear what table size or amount of RAM will cause this issue. It has been found that this error will not occur on workstations with less than 1 GB of RAM.

Note: Microsoft Knowledge Base article 176483 may also help with slow performance of Sage Pro, even if the error does not appear. This has not been confirmed by Sage Customer Support and any questions regarding the changes recommended in the article should be addressed to Microsoft Support.
