This Hot Fix addresses the following issues. PTR 80747 and 82184 have been addressed with the Sage Pro 7.4 Build 3400 product release. PTR 84943 will also occur in Sage Pro 7.4 Build 3400 and is scheduled to be addressed with Service Pack 1.

• PTR 80747 (Original post 3/7/06) – Editing An Order May Experience Performance Issues When Large Number Of Line Items And Using Microsoft SQL Version
• PTR 82184 (Updated post 3/28/06) – Editing a Finished Good Line Item May Delete Work Order In Specific Circumstances When Using Microsoft SQL Version
• PTR 84943 (Updated post 12/14/06) – The following message may occur incorrectly when an order is saved with lotted items, edited at a later time to change quantity and then edited again back to the original quantity. This may occur when using the Microsoft SQL or Microsoft Visual FoxPro version.

Available quantity of [edited quantity] insufficient for shipment of [original quantity] at Location XXX.

Solution or Workaround

This Hot Fix addresses PTRs 80747, 82184, and 84943 concerning these issues.

Hot Fix files included:

• SOBASE.H, SOBASE.VCT, SOBASE.VCX
• SOPOST.H, SOPOST.VCT, SOPOST.VCX

All files are found in the SO program directory

Important Notes:

1. PTR 80747 and 82184 have been addressed with Sage Pro 7.4 Build 3400 product release. PTR 84943 will also occur with Sage Pro 7.4 Build 3400 and is scheduled to be addressed with Service Pack 1.
2. Back up affected program files and data before applying Hot Fix.
3. Apply Hot Fix in a test environment to ensure proper results before implementing in a live installation.
4. Verify that Hot Fix files do not overwrite any modifications. If there are modified files, a qualified Certified Consultant familiar with the modifications should be used to integrate the changes.

This Hot Fix addresses the above behavior. Please follow the instructions included in the attached readme to implement this Hot Fix.
